Nitchō (jap. ζ—₯ι ‚; * 1252; † 1317), auch Niccho oder Iyo-bo genannt, war ein SchΓΌler Nichirens und Stiefsohn des Toki Jonin, eines wichtigen SchΓΌlers und LaienglΓ€ubigen Nichirens. Er war MitbegrΓΌnder des Ikegami Honmon-ji Tempels und GrΓΌnder des Tempels Hongaku-ji.cite-ref-1[1]cite-ref-2[2]

Aufgrund der Empfehlung Toki Jonins wurde Nitchō ein Schüler Nichirens. Wegen ihrer verwandtschaftlichen Beziehungen werden beide mit der Nakayama-Schule des Nichiren-Buddhismus in Verbindung gebracht.
